  • Estimated annual base pay: $92,800 (minimum) - $116,000 (midpoint) - $139,200 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Design Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing fuel nozzle components for aerospace engines, ensuring that the fuel nozzle designs meet safety, performance, and reliability standards.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and design fuel nozzle for aerospace engines.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all fuel nozzle designs meet safety, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Strong background in design for manufacturing and automation. Collaborate with manufacturing team and supplies to ensure the designs can be manufactured in an automated environment.
  • Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), GD&T, Tolerance Stack-ups.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to fuel nozzle design and development.
  • Conduct performance and safety tests on fuel nozzle designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing team during the production process.
  • Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for design improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in fuel nozzle design and incorporate new technologies into designs as appropriate.
  • Conduct research to identify new technologies that can be used in fuel nozzle design.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience required.
  • Strong background in design for manufacturing, automation, GD&T, and DFSS.
  • Ideal candidate will have a fluid and/ or hydraulic experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use CAD software and GD&T knowledge.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace fuel nozzle design.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
