About the Role

The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, managing the sales team, enhancing customer experience, and expanding market presence. This role will develop and execute sales initiatives to achieve business objectives while fostering cross-functional collaboration to align sales efforts with company goals.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with a strong background in B2B sales, market expansion, customer engagement, and high-performance sales team leadership. This individual will be instrumental in optimizing sales operations, identifying growth opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers and partners.

What You'll Do

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics to track and optimize success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market segments, and strategic partnerships to expand the company's reach.
  • Leverage data analytics and sales forecasting to drive decision-making and revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align sales efforts with brand messaging, pricing models, and financial goals.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies, including account management and retention initiatives.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to drive product and service improvements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by implementing best-in-class sales and support processes.

Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals, ensuring they have the skills and tools needed to excel.
  • Establish clear goals, incentives, and performance evaluation systems to drive productivity and results.
  • Implement best practices in sales processes, CRM utilization, and pipeline management.

Market Development & Competitive Positioning

  • Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and trend identification to inform sales strategies.
  • Expand market presence through regional, national, or global sales initiatives.
  • Develop pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.
  • Identify new revenue streams and emerging market opportunities to stay ahead of industry trends.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Partnerships

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Align sales initiatives with business objectives, customer needs, and product offerings.
  • Represent the sales function in executive meetings, strategic planning sessions, and board discussions.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture across all sales and customer-facing teams.

Must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 7 years in sales leadership role with minimum of 2 years managing a team with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion

Nice to haves:

  • Education: Master's degree in business, economics, marketing, or sales
  • Experience: 10 years in sales leadership role with minimum of 3 years managing a team.
  • Experience leading B2B sales teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and acquire new business.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, forecasting, and business development.
  • Proven ability to build and scale high-performing sales organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), sales analytics, and pipeline management.
  • Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and strategic partnerships.
  • Visionary leadership with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience leading and developing a successful sales team.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Where We Work

At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a remote role, but will be required to come to Stow, OH office as needed.

Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home - a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in-home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company's Stow, Ohio office.
