Could you be the Logistics Technician we're looking for?

Your future role

As a PI Logistics Technician, you will be responsible for general warehouse work, ensuring efficient logistics operations. Your role will involve transporting materials, managing inventory, and supporting shipping processes to maintain a smooth workflow in our logistics department.

We'll look to you for:



  • Transporting materials between various sections, including incoming/receiving areas and storerooms, using various material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies.
  • Performing basic mathematical functions to carry out cycle counting and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Closely collaborating with the traffic department for global packaging and shipping tasks.
  • Executing kitting and inventory tasks accurately.
  • Handling all dispatching duties, including issuing, relieving, adding shortages, closing shop orders, and working with Engineering Change Notices to add or remove parts.
  • Receiving incoming materials and adhering to the approved receiving process.
  • Preparing packages for shipping with proper labeling and documentation.

  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including proficiency in navigating operating systems using scroll bars, mouse, and dialog boxes.
  • Familiarity with Alstom-specific databases such as GSI, Maximo, and Solochian.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for entering, manipulating, and formatting text and numerical data, as well as creating and saving worksheets.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word to type, format, edit, print, save, and retrieve documents.
  • Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
  • Strong math skills to solve basic problems.
  • Experience operating various material handling equipment, including hand trucks and automated material storage equipment.
  • Ability to obtain a fork-truck driver's license and hazmat certification within a reasonable timeframe.



Education and/or Experience:



  • High school graduate or equivalent.



Pay: $33.00/hr
