THE JOB:

Welcome to Bavette's Steakhouse & Bar, an acclaimed Chicago classic in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip at Park MGM. We are currently looking for a Cook to join our team and be a part of this renowned Steakhouse. This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to grow their skill in an upscale restaurant working with different cuts of steak, fresh seafood, and traditional side dishes. If you have a combination of upscale or fine dining experience and high volume cooking experience, apply today!

THE STARTING RATE:$25.7018

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including broilers, grills, and fryers.

• Execute precise knife skills, including cutting, slicing, and mincing, to prepare ingredients.

• Maintain solid menu knowledge with a focus on steak temperatures, plate presentation, and flavor pairings.

• Collaborate with kitchen leadership and team members to handle high-volume service, managing from 400 to 600 covers daily.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• 6 months of experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.

• 6 months of experience in a high-volume restaurant, managing at least 300+ covers daily.
