Position Title:RN Manger Education Perioperative/Procedural

Job Description:
General Description: As a leader of an integrated team of Education Specialists, promotes a healthy professional practice environment and supports interprofessional collaborative relationships within OU Health. The Clinical Education Manager, serves as a change agent, mentor, and leader and fully supports the Nurse Residency Program (NRP) all professional development activities at OU Health. Ensures that educational needs are identified, assessed, and prioritized and that the curriculum is developed and delivered to achieve results. General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) degree Experience: 3 to 5 years progressive leadership experience required including 5 years experience to include combination of relevant clinical/technical practice and responsibility for educational functions/processes License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expertise, knowledge and skills to fulfill the full role, inclusive of Professional and Clinical Competence, , Evidence Based Practice, promoting Lifelong Learning and collaborating with a diversity of professionals to deliver educational and professional programs. Managerial skills sufficient for organizing, developing and supervising a department and staff. Demonstrates creativity and innovation in assessing for/addressing adult learning needs in a Academic Medical Center environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a highly integrated environment, with both direct and indirect reporting relationships. Demonstrates excellence in written and verbal communication. Demonstrates ability to utilize a diverse range technology including simulation to achieve educational goals and outcomes.
