What You'll Do

  • Lead interactions with multiple offices including principals, directors, managers, and others to effectively support marketing strategy
  • Assist Associate Director with staffing initiatives
  • Lead marketing teams in department-specific projects and programs
  • Utilize dashboards and reports to aid in load leveling within the department
  • Collaborate within same marketing department to improve and unify marketing processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with other marketing departments on special projects
  • Lead branding best practices.
  • Facilitate lessons learned and actions to improve process efficiency
  • Track trends and monitor marketing metrics
  • Participate in professional development activities such as continuing education, seminars, classes, and/or professional organizations
  • Mentor and engage in regular performance feedback for junior and mid-level marketing members
  • Translate strategic marketing initiatives into actionable items for junior and mid-level marketing members
  • Manage and oversee junior and mid-level marketing members
  • Review RFPs to determine alignment with local office and company goals and objectives
  • Establish, implement, and facilitate strategic proposal marketing materials locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Apply experience and best practices in proposal team management to ensure the timely delivery of proposal submissions that are fully compliant with solicitation instructions
  • Oversee production of standard and customized proposal marketing materials for cohesive branding efforts
  • Follow up on pending submittals to determine wins and losses

What We're Looking For

  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar required
  • 8 years of saled or marketing experience required, experience in marketing or design in the fields of architecture, engineering, and/or construction preferred. Related internship employment will count toward experience
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and demonstrated ability to use standard software applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, internet applications, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication, writing, editing and grammar skills
  • Ability to collaborate, energize, and engage creative processes in teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of general marketing process and research methods
  • Ability to analyze marketing trends and metrics
  • Experience managing teams to inspire, engage, and inform members to meet established goals
  • Valid driver's license required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary
