Overview

Monitor the Bed Management Dashboard to ensure EVS department functions are occurring according to the department operating procedures 1.1 Ensures staff are entered into Bed Express zones, notifies management staff - sufficient resources are allocated for discharge cleaning 2. Monitors the SRC dashboard to ensure work requests are being completed by management staff and employees. 2.1 Reviews SRC database to see what work requests have not been closed or updated 3. Performs other computer related assignments to produce reports for EVS department 3.1 Knowledgeable how to export from various databases into excel to produce reports 4. Performs customer service role in dealing with staff 4.1 Acts as a customer service representative by making and receiving calls relative to service recovery 5. Assists with supply control. 5.1 Issues and collects beepers Qualifications EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of educational requirements. EXPERIENCE Two (2) to three (3) years related experience in hospital cleaning SPECIAL SKILLS Working knowledge of desktop word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications is strongly preferred. Ability to multitask and work in a stressful fast paced environment. Must be task and detail orientated with exceptional interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
