Job Overview

The Charitable Giving Specialist is responsible for providing analysis of giving program performance. This role will also manage the intake, review, repository, and reporting of applications submitted to the Charitable Giving program. This includes thoughtfully reviewing over 1,200 applications annually. This will require connecting with non-profit partners (domestically and abroad) and the completion of a robust due diligence process to ensure the appropriate stewardship of funds - with a strong bias for confidentiality and keen attention to detail. In addition, this role will be accountable for maintaining the team's information database through the collection and entry of new data and for running reports and analyzing data trends from the database. The Specialist facilitates Corporate Giving team communications to non-profits, vendors, and other internal/ external partners, with a high degree of professionalism. The Specialist assists with the overall Charitable Giving team objectives through ad hoc projects and Culture & Care team events.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the review and initial vetting process for over 1,200 applications annually, ensuring that applications are complete, meet criteria, and program guidelines. Makes informed and independent decisions regarding the satisfaction of criteria and program eligibility to continue in the process.
  • Manages and Maintains the Charitable Giving Database with excellence, through ensuring that initial entries and updates are accurate and timely. This database includes grant records, organizations, contacts, and notes. Responsible for thoughtful review and analysis to promote data accuracy. This includes running reports, auditing the data base, following up on incomplete data sets, and providing informed recommendations.
  • Partners with the Sr. Manager to communicate with non-profit organizations to facilitate information gathering. This includes connecting with organizations to understand their needs, building relationships, partnering to support accurate application completion and a thorough understanding of the request etc. and confirming alignment with our giving strategy.
  • Analyzes data trends, provides thoughtful recommendations, and prepares reports from the charitable giving database for the team and leadership. This may also include building presentations and creating leadership proposals and recommendations.
  • Manages vendor relationships and supports the Sr. Manager in other general giving program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

  • Business related degree
