Responsibilities

Page is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented BIM Coordinator focused on Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support the design and project delivery process in our Phoenix office.

This position will support the BIM workflows and digital design methods and technologies. Responsibilities include advancement of BIM methods, training, and the implementation of digital design standards.

The BIM team will identify and resolve issues through close interaction with project team members and collaborate on project management with the multiple design teams involved with model integration.

  • In coordination with other BIM Coordinators you will support the implementation of BIM technology needs in the Phoenix and other Page offices as needed;
  • Coordinate and monitor the effective development of BIM on projects;
  • Manage the implementation of supporting software applications for BIM and project delivery;
  • Stay abreast in new and emerging technologies and best practices impacting digital design to enhance productivity and efficiency;
  • Research new tools and software's to enhance project efficiency;
  • Develop and maintain positive customer experience/satisfaction;
  • Improve personal professional growth and education;
  • Demonstrate positive team attitude and interpersonal effectiveness;
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in digital design delivery software;
  • Liaise with BIM specialists across the organization;
  • Maintain and develop BIM-related content for design practice;
  • Document BIM processes, procedures and workflows;
  • Coordinate software and network support with the IT group as it relates to BIM and project delivery
  • Coordinate BIM training in the local office.

Project Support:

  • Assist project teams in BIM project set up and the development of BIM Execution Plans.
  • Assist integrated design teams to develop BIM workflows and strategies for effective collaboration on BIM projects.
  • Assist project teams with troubleshooting, model management and design and coordination issues.
  • Help with project coordination, model mediation and sequencing through Revit software and other 2d and 3d applications.
  • Participate and manage client BIM design and delivery standards and outcomes.
  • Responsible for automation of processes and tasks using scripting and/or integrations with 3rd party tools.
  • Prepare workflows integrating other software with Revit software for; user productivity, model coordination, analysis, data enrichment, rendering and animation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field, Masters' preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a BIM leadership role with large complex projects.
  • Able to adhere to deadlines and have a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with Revit software, 3D modeling, AutoCAD, Dynamo, BIM 360, Newforma
  • Familiarity with Performance Design applications such as Climate Studio, Ladybug, etc...
  • Familiarity with Design Visualization applications such as Enscape, Vray, Lumion, etc...
  • Familiarity with Computational Design applications such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino, etc..
  • Autodesk Revit Certified Professional + Strong computer, technical and communication skills are essential and required.
  • Preferred: subject matter expert level knowledge with the following technologies: Dynamo, Python, Revit Add-in creation, and scripting technologies.
  • Ability to seek out and resolve issues through close interaction with other project team members.
  • Experience with a BIM execution planning and providing a detailed modeling plan for each phase of design.
  • Experience in project coordination/model mediation/corrupt model troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with model visualization using Revit as the base point and integrating with other software for rendering/animation
  • General understanding of Healthcare, Science & Technology and High Education buildings.
  • Good communication and training skills (verbal and written); + Strong teaching and coaching skills to bring new team members up to speed
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
  • Must be a self-starter and possesses the drive to pursue continued education on BIM
  • Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
  • Position will require travel approximately 25% of the time.
