Warehouse Operations Management: o Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that shipments are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. o Managing the receipt of incoming large-format paper pallets, ensuring they are unloaded safely and stored in an organized manner. o Coordinating the preparation of orders for shipping, ensuring that products are packed properly for international shipping. Forklift Operation and Safety: o Operating forklifts to move large-format paper pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse. o Ensuring safe operation of forklifts, adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or local safety regulations. o Training and supervising warehouse staff on proper forklift use, as well as safety procedures and compliance. Inventory Control: o Maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking the movement of large-format paper pallets, and ensuring that stock levels are correct. o Implementing systems for inventory tracking and working with software tools (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems or WMS). Quality Control and Documentation: o Ensuring all goods are received in good condition and all paperwork (invoices, bills of lading, etc.) is accurately completed. o Managing returns or damaged goods and ensuring correct documentation is in place for returns and claims. Space and Layout Management: o Ensuring efficient use of warehouse space, optimizing layout for large-format paper pallets and materials, and reducing handling times. o Implementing proper storage methods for large, bulky products to prevent damage. o Assists with receiving and dispatching of work requests to technical staff, vendors or other services providers o Any and all other duties and tasks as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: * Forklift Certification: Required for operating forklifts in the warehouse. * Experience in Warehouse Management: Preferably with large-format paper products or similar materials. * Knowledge of International Shipping and Customs: Understanding of export/import regulations, international freight processes, and documentation (e.g., Incoterms, commercial invoices). * Attention to Detail: Accuracy in inventory control, shipment documentation, and order fulfillment. * Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, such as delays in shipments or inventory discrepancies. * Safety Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with workplace safety standards, particularly for forklift operations and heavy material handling Location: On-site -Alpharetta, GAIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
