Job Summary

The Residential Sales & Support Coordinator engages with internal and external customers to solve technical challenges, support and manage sales processes from point-of-contact to product/solution delivery, and drives business improvements through partnerships with customers and vendors.

Essential Functions

*Manage and prioritize residential quotation workload received from Account Managers, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), vendors and customers.

*Manage and monitor all quotation requests including but not limited to: quote entry, quote tracking and follow up (win/loss), and margin gain.

*Provide feedback to customers on adequate stock levels and estimate date of delivery based on knowledge of vendor's production and delivery schedules.

*Respond to customer inquiries related to design, product function capabilities, and applications escalating to Product Specialist and/ or vendor partner as appropriate.

*Upon award of order, execute project set-up, including but not limited to securing project special pricing agreements (SPAs) from vendors, compiling price files, working with accounting/pricing departments to set-up ship-to and load pricing, manage order entry/ release and transitioning to CSR as appropriate for order entry/release.

*Log support provided to customers into the customer relationship manager (CRM).

*Send product demos to qualified customers on request.

*Build and maintain relationships with Customers, Vendors, Product Management, Accounting, Purchasing, Pricing, Sales, local branch logistics, and Customer Experience.

*Coordinate with Pricing and vendors to initiate and establish customer pricing profiles.

*Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.

*Identify new business opportunities and communicate to Sales and BDRs as appropriate.

*Participate in sales calls when needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any direct supervisor responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

*Associate or Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, communications, business administration or related field, OR

*1-2 years' relevant experience in customer service business to business (B2B) sales or residential trade experience in lieu of a degree.

*Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

*Ability to attend off-business hours business and industry events.

*Proven ability to be a self-starter and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

*Previous experience in B2B customer service or consultative sales.

*Previous experience in residential construction market is preferred.

*Previous experience working with Microsoft Office and CRM package.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to effectively communicate is required. The employee is regularly required to travel (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation) and is frequently required to visit customer locations or construction work sites. The employee may occasionally move up to 50 pounds.

The working conditions of this positionrequires the employee to work inside an office environment. The employee may be exposed to the following conditions while visiting customer locations and work sites: heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid. The environment for which this position functions may contain prolonged noises, scents and fragrances. Employee must be able to travel. Employee is required to use personal protective equipment to maintain safety and prevent exposure to harmful materials/ elements. May be requested to work overtime and/or weekends.
