13 Position Summary
The Industrial Designer position coordinates and plans the design and construction of electric and gas service installations/upgrades/remodels and line extensions for large commercial/industrial customers and provides excellent customer service throughout the work management project and the main point-of-contact for the customer. Tasks and Responsibilities

Applied knowledge of design and construction standards and requirements
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision with experience in making independent decisions and recommendations
Ability to effectively coordinate and prioritize assigned projects to meet customer expectations
Ability to interact with customers and address customer concerns, providing exceptional customer service
Demonstrated ability to coordinate the preparation of high quality job sketches
Handles work content that is increasingly complex
Must have a valid class C Texas Driver's license with a favorable driving record. Preferred Qualifications

Associates Degree OR experience in commercial utility-scale distribution planning or commercial utility construction CAD/GIS or other technical experience or Currently a Designer 1 or 2 with a strong background in commercial utility-scale distribution planning or commercial utility construction experience Required Certifications Working Environment
Work is performed indoors & outdoors. Manual dexterity, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion. Use of computing equipment, telephone, & printer/copier. Ability to travel to and from business related events. After hours work may be required. Physical Demands
