Job Summary: The ERP Implementation Manager leads and guides the transition of University on-premises finance and HCM ERP systems to a modern cloud platform. Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the successful deployment and integration of cloud ERP systems at The University of Alabama. Sets strategic priorities for cloud ERP implementations. Coordinates with various departments. Manages project timelines and resources. Ensures that the cloud ERP system meets business needs and enhances operational efficiency. Additional Department Summary: The University of Alabama is embarking to transition the on-premises finance and HCM ERP systems to a modern cloud platform. Leads and guides this complex multi-year project. This position is time-limited to the duration of the project. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field and ten (10) years of experience in leading large-scale transformative initiatives, to include five (5) years in a leadership role. Experience successfully managing and implementing cloud ERP solutions in a large university or similar environment. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems and their application in business processes. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. In-depth knowledge of finance and HCM processes and systems.Familiarity with cloud ERP platforms such as Oracle Cloud and Workday.Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field.
