JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: An Administrative Assistant is being sought to provide general operational administrative support for Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education (EPSCE) in the College of Education. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the office including front office duties for the staff suite, maintains daily office operations, and assists with expense reconciliation. Additional responsibilities include technology/office supply purchases and inventory, facility room approvals and work orders, and calendar management. More specific responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to:
This position entails applying knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the units to complete difficult assignments; promoting a culture that is conducive to effective relationships among diverse team members and related internal/external stakeholders; maintaining confidential and/or sensitive information and materials; typically working under general supervision, while performing assignments that are varied and somewhat complex. Education and Experience: Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with knowledge of SAP Concur, Microsoft Office 365, and a scheduling system (this role will use 25Live but knowledge of it is not required).
