Group Therapist

Foundations Behavioral Health is currently hiring a full-time Group Therapist to support our Clinical Services Department at our Doylestown campus. This is an onsite position in Doylestown, PA scheduled for weekday hours 8:30a - 5p with requirement to work two weekend days (Saturday and/or Sunday) per month.

Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to residential and academic services.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic services to neurodiverse children and adolescents in inpatient and residential settings utilizing group modalities
• Perform assessments to inform treatment needs and aid in the development a multidisciplinary treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with treatment team to effectively address behavioral health needs
• Willingness to conduct self with professionalism and demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with youth, families, outside agencies, and colleagues

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university
• Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program
• Two years' experience with child/adolescent mental health clients in an inpatient or residential setting preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn the hospital documentation standards
• Capable of performing written or typed record keeping and correspondence as it relates to job functions.
• Capable of rapport building with youth and their families to facilitate their engagement in the therapeutic services.
• Familiarity with generally accepted concepts, techniques and procedures of evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment.
• Experience with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities a plus!
