We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our regional office in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for driving equipment sales across Austin, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley in the medical fields of audiology, otolaryngology, physical therapy, and related specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive equipment sales within the assigned territory, aligning efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure customers receive tailored recommendations for audiometric instrumentation that meet their specific needs, successfully closing sales, and providing in-service training and comprehensive post-sale support.
  • Collaborate effectively with local personnel, including service technicians, schedulers, and administrative support, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and sales operations.
  • Maintain and enhance technical knowledge by attending clinical workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in relevant professional societies to remain current in the field.
  • Demonstrate initiative and take the lead on projects as needed, contributing to team success and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and technical support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet or exceed all established sales and service goals within the assigned territory, actively tracking progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, equipment sales, and post-sale activities, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Keep product knowledge current by attending all required training sessions and staying informed about new product developments and industry trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company policies and goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Exceptional sales and customer service skills, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities when appropriate to maximize efficiency.
  • Resilience and adaptability in high-paced and stressful environments, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with the ability to create detailed reports and presentations.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents to support informed decision-making.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and contribute to team success.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in business or a related field; and 2 years of sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Medical device sales experience is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain a clear driving record.

Travel:

  • This role requires extensive regional travel to include overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
  • Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
  • Must pass Drug Test.
