The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing activity across all TTI social media platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and X. The primary goal of this role is to drive engagement, grow our audience, increase web traffic, and support sales teams in initiating conversations and building customer relationships. This role involves real-time content creation, posting updates, monitoring reactions, and actively engaging with audiences across all platforms. Additionally, the specialist will conduct regular audits of our processes and platforms to ensure the effective use of relevant content and assets. A key aspect of this position is staying up to date with the latest industry trends, social media developments, and best practices to drive innovation and effectiveness in our social media strategy.

The Social Media Marketing Specialist position will report directly to & work closely with the Content Marketing Manager positioning TTI and the TTI Family of Specialists value proposition in our industry.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Engagement and Support

This role sits between the marketing, creative and content marketing disciplines, helping to meet shared objectives and providing insights and analysis to improve impact and effectiveness of company content. They will also help support the development social selling competencies and understanding across the wider business.

The Social Media Marketing Specialist position will be first point of contact for the day-to-day social selling needs associated with Managing the corporate social media channels, including ad-hoc admin requests.

Manage all corporate social platforms, providing weekly reports and being the main point of contact for social listening and sentiment analysis around our brand identity, the products we sell and current events that may impact our company's reputation or business objectives:



  • Monitor comments and spot opportunities to engage in relevant conversations and build relationships in real-time with customers and supplier partners - provide genuine responses in a timely manner utilizing the TTI voice in support of TTI contributors, supplier partners and customers.
  • Be agile in content creation and lead the competition in responding to news, events, and emerging trends impacting customers.
  • Act as a liaison between our social community, TTI press relations, product marketing, sales teams, and other internal departments.


The Social Media Marketing Specialist role will work collaboratively with the supplier marketing team and others to leverage partner video content on our channel - amplifying the TTI value proposition and supplier messages.

Provide guidance for branch content - engaging with them to guide their efforts, providing ideas and constructive feedback. Helping our branches and their regional teams develop their local follower base.

Paid Social Media & Analytics



  • Develop and lead paid social strategy on LinkedIn to ensure that we are delivering the highest return on our investments. Analyze weekly and monthly performance and reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.


Strategic Planning



  • Leverage our reach and brand in order to develop TTI SMEs into B2B influencers
  • Explore new ways to create more video content for our channel - including "user-generated content" from TTI SMEs: quick facts, key trends, insights from events
  • Advise and execute on engagement strategies for growing our follower base for example sweepstakes, partnerships or other tactics with an overall goal of growing fans on our pages and building a positive and engaging community.
  • Strategically seek 'follows' from influencers, monitor our follower base and maximize reciprocal follows (customers and suppliers).


Reporting, Administration & Competencies



  • Maintenance and constant review day/week/month LinkedIn and YouTube plan to ensuring a balance of topics and content types and planning for seasonal activities
  • Maintain competency in new digital technologies and social media best practices and communicate them to teammates
  • Analyze current KPIs, recommend new KPIs and provide insights highlighting program success and identify priorities to optimize results on any significant changes.
  • Validating and adapting to ensure that the timing of all posts maximizes visibility, and adjusting the timing of various post types in each channel.
  • Maintain intranet and internet properties as directed and assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE




  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, social media marketing, marketing communications or relevant field is preferred.



  • Three years of hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms in a professional setting is required.



  • Experience in B2B social media marketing and familiarity with analytics tools are highly desirable.




SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS



  • Expert knowledge of social media content, delivery and best practices.
  • Proven experience maximizing LinkedIn as a sales tool.
  • Experience leveraging YouTube in B2B channel.
  • Social media management tools - Sprout Social experience a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Effective researcher with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with search engine optimization, Google and Adobe Analytics - certifications is a plus.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills, and the ability to respond thoughtfully and professionally to our audience.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal/teamwork skills in order to develop effective relationships with individuals and groups inside the TTI organization.
