ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Review notifications with Production and convert to work orders as needed, making sure craft is correct
* Manage, plan, and schedule work order process
* Write and modify work orders as needed
* Communicate with production on daily basis to stay of production needs
* Participate in Maintenance scheduling meetings
* Monitor progress of maintenance work in the field to communicate any schedule changes to production
management
* Review preventive maintenance for equipment and ensure compliance
* Monitor and identify need for spare parts
* Coordinate production aspects of equipment repair
* Request bids from contract vendors for jobs
* Evaluate bids and recommend which vendor to use
* Oversee vendors work when it does not involve Maintenance
* Evaluate vendors
* Interface with maintenance supervisor/engineers to assure timely shipment of parts
* Interface with maintenance supervisor/engineers to assure timely receipt of "rush" parts
* Seek out new vendors for field work, repair, and parts for specialty items
* Prepare and/or review Goods Receipts on POs as needed
* Schedule jobs and specialty (non-Maintenance) vendors for shutdowns
* Audit Work Orders for efficiency and cost control
* Note: Regular attendance is an essential job function for this position
* Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or
teams and by conducting safety audits.
* Review service reports for outside PMs

* Ensure unassigned equipment is assigned a number and functional locations is SAP
* Ensure spare parts are set-up in stock
* Assist in developing the scope of work for major repairs or additions
* Work with Production and Engineering help with design on new projects
* Help to seek out alternate sources of supply for parts on long delivery items.

* Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, functions, or departments to

* Keep supervisor informed of status and progress, ensuring that regular and periodic communication
takes place.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing
professional publications; establishing personal networks and keeping abreast of industry trends and
related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities.
* Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and high ethical standards in the work place, complying
with company's policies and procedures.
* Fulfill mandatory training requirements applicable for department and job duties as appropriate.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by supervisor or Management.
