What your job will be like:

The Hall C post-doctoral fellow takes an active role in the upcoming Hall C experimental program at Jefferson Lab. Responsible for overseeing a part of the Hall C operation equipment. Collaborate in developing a future physics program.

In this role you will:

• Work alongside users and staff scientists, taking part in the running and analysis of ongoing Hall C experimental program.
• Participates in the longer-term development of new detectors for future Hall C experiments.
• It is expected that the Hall C postdoctoral fellow will interact with the Jefferson Lab user community in the development of new experimental equipment and ideas, in the analysis of data, and to help with publications.

Qualifications we require:

Education

• Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or particle physics or high energy astrophysics

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate clearly in writing (e.g. email, memos, explanations, drawings) and explain work to his/her supervisor and others in the group.,
• Experience in data analysis
• Ability to interacts well with work group.,
• Can present work associated with specific projects at professional meetings
