Project Manager (Nexera)

What you will be doing:

The Project Manager will be tasked with providing project management oversight for the value analysis function at client organizations. This resource may be leading the value analysis process and all associated coordination, may be supporting the Clinical Value Analysis teams, or may be acting as an overall project manager on associated efforts - all under the guides of advancing, optimizing, and creating structure around the investment in value analysis. This role is responsible for development of, and ongoing management of the Value Analysis process within a framework of quality and safety focusing on appropriate utilization of supplies and services. This role will also actively participate in analytics and presentation development. The Value Analysis team is tasked with reducing supply costs across the clinical spend landscape in conjunction with other value analysis staff and a group of multidisciplinary Value Analysis Teams.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1- 40%

Project Management
* Participate in planning of value analysis projects
* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
* Assist in identifying resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
* Develop project plans and critical paths. Communicate plans to Supply Chain Value Analysis Team members
* Plan and schedule project timelines
* Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
* Create savings dashboards and maintain a master savings tracker document
* Manage various work streams associated with products in which Client has invested, working to reduce redundant activities and duplication of effort.
* Coordinate education of Client Supply Chain staff relevant to Value Analysis project management
* Develop meeting agendas, prepare minutes, create data presentations, and monitor project plans
* Collaborate with Client Team in support of the Value Analysis functions
* Monitor and report on progress of the project to Value Analysis Director and Managers and team members
* Work cooperatively with Client to reduce redundant activities and duplication of effort among Value Analysis Team Members
* Demonstrated communication and customer service skills are essential along with organizational
* Attention to detail and follow up.
* Strong focus on service excellence, customer service and meeting internal and external customer needs
* Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibility #2 - 40%

Analytics/ Presentations
* Use of analytical and quantitative skills used in conjunction with statistical and comparative analysis
* Makes decisions on the basis of complete thought process and in alignment with corporate mission
* Review clinical spend landscapes, Spend Advisor, enterprise resource planning (ERP) reports and new item reports to identify opportunities.
* Review and revise Value Analysis/Supply Chain processes as needed.
* Coordinate product evaluations and manage Item add requests.
* Identify utilization and waste reduction opportunities.
* Support the Cost Reduction efforts of the organization
* Drive standard presentation materials

Responsibility #3 - 20%

Value Analysis Clinical Resource Support
* Responsible for development of, and ongoing management of the Value Analysis process within a framework of quality and safety focusing on appropriate utilization of supplies and services.
* Follow applicable organizational processes, and support the health systems' mission, vision and strategic goals.
* Partner with Senior Leadership, (VP Supply chain, CMO, CFO) to identify key stakeholders in the process.
* Initiate and maintain key stakeholders' relationships to achieve highest level of engagement.
* Establish multidisciplinary Value Analysis teams based on input from key stakeholders.
* Provide leadership, education and support to the Value Analysis staff.
* Prep Value Analysis team members on their roles and responsibilities as members of the team.
* Engage Value Analysis Committee Chairpersons with meeting prep and ongoing follow-up.
* Partner with clinicians and end users to pursue opportunities for contractual negotiations with Suppliers.
Responsible for developing meeting agendas, data presentations, and manage project plans.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 5 or more years

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

* Business Solutions (excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Supply Chain Management Principles
* Value Analysis / project management / sourcing experience
* Strong organizational and communication skills

Experience:

* Management experience required. Progressive leadership preferred.
* Experience in analyzing healthcare processes toward improving patient outcomes.
* Formal training in Lean Six Sigma and PMBOK preferred.
* Experience/ value analysis/ project management/ sourcing/ analytics
* Advanced technical skills in MS Office suite and current healthcare supply chain information systems

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $99,000 - $185,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
