Objective

As Philadelphia's Hometown Bank and the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles, we have an exciting opportunity for creatives, content creators, and social media pros who want to work in financial services, with an emphasis in sports marketing. The Digital Marketing Coordinator at Firstrust Bank is an important member of the Digital team that supports the development and execution of content generally, and specifically for marketing campaigns, promotions, and programs across Firstrust Bank's social channels, website, online banking, mobile app, SMS, and sports partner channels. The coordinator is responsible for building the bank's social media presence to maximize reach and engagement and will curate a monthly content calendar for each platform. The coordinator is responsible for the content development process, including designing graphics and writing posts, as well as working with support from creative, media, and sports marketing agencies. Throughout the NFL season, this role will have the opportunity to support the Philadelphia Eagles partnership and will create content for each week's gameday matchup. This includes VIP Eagles events, games at the stadium's Touchdown Terrace, and many more amazing sports marketing programs! Additionally, the Coordinator will develop a cohesive communications strategy across email, web, and other digital marketing channels. They will work with partners across the Firstrust Enterprise to build a library of marketing materials that can be used by the sales and service teams in their communications with prospects and customers. The coordinator will optimize the communications on Firstrust.com, and will partner with subject matter experts to write content blogs and newsletters. Our ideal candidate is highly creative, with strong written communication skills and an eye for graphic design. Additionally, the candidate is passionate about digital marketing and is an active social media user who can help improve the way the Firstrust brand engages with customers and prospects on digital platforms.

Responsibilities/Duties

Graphic Design:

    Create Visual Assets: Develop eye-catching graphics for social media, email campaigns, website, and other digital marketing channels in alignment with Firstrust Bank's brand guidelines.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure a cohesive and consistent visual identity across all customer touchpoints, adhering to brand standards in every design.
  • Collaborative Campaigns: Work closely with the Marketing Team, agencies, and other internal partners to conceptualize and design creative assets for marketing campaigns, promotions, and events (including sports marketing initiatives such as the Philadelphia Eagles partnership).
  • Workflow Management: Manage the design production workflow from concept to completion-sourcing and editing images, securing approvals, and delivering final files on schedule.
  • Design Innovation: Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices, and proactively recommend fresh creative ideas that enhance brand storytelling.
  • Asset Organization: Organize and maintain a library of design files, templates, and creative resources for easy access and consistent application across the organization.

Social Media:

  • Manage social media accounts Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Grow following, reach, and engagement in the Philadelphia region
  • Curate a monthly social media calendar
  • Engage with customers and prospects on social media platforms
  • Create posts and manage content production workflow
  • Amplify Firstrust business initiatives and events
  • Identify key social influencers in Philadelphia to partner with
  • Utilize social listening and publishing platforms Sprout Social

  • Ensure cohesive communications across website
  • Manage production workflow and approvals for blog articles and press releases
  • Contribute to blog with personally written articles

Email Marketing:

  • Coordinate with Marketing Team on external communications to ensure cohesive communications strategy across all digital platforms
  • Manage creative workflow and approvals
  • Design marketing emails that can be used by the sales and service teams in their communications with prospects and customers.
  • Design graphics and write marketing copy
  • Utilize email marketing platform Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Online Review Management

  • Track and monitor online reviews and ratings across various platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook, Yelp)
  • Respond to reviews promptly and courteously, adhering to Firstrust Bank's brand standards and tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve critical feedback, escalating issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reputation Management: analyze review trends and sentiments to provide recommendations for improving products, services, and customer experiences.
  • Compile regular reports on online reputation metrics and share insights with management for continuous improvement of overall customer engagement strategies.

OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust. Is alert to expressed customer/prospect needs to suggest appropriate services. Directs customers to appropriate person to establish business relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Essential Functions

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal with repetitive motion. Physical requirements of this position are considered sedentary work involving preparing documentation, preparing, and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and resolving inquiries. Some amount of mobility to access files, attend meetings, both on and off site, and perform property inspections is necessary. The employee is expected to converse with internal and external customers and exchange information.



Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of social media marketing experience
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong background in Copywriting or similar writing experiences
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Canva, Sketch, and/or similar graphic design software's
  • Ability to work independently and adeptly multitask and prioritize a high volume of projects and tasks at one time.
  • Proficiency with software applications used for marketing, such as (but not limited to) Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Google Docs/Slides/Sheets
  • Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Jira, Asana, or Basecamp.
  • Experience with Webflow, Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace or similar CMS platforms
  • Experience with video production, photography, and other creative services a bonus
