Job Summary:
B&A is looking for a PeopleSoft FSCM Project Manager to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced
PeopleSoft FSCM Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and implementation of PeopleSoft
Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
PeopleSoft FSCM modules, project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise financial systems. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to drive project success in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the upgrade from PeopleSoft 9.2/Image 21 to Image 52, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Lead ongoing production support, including adding new reports, system enhancements, and troubleshooting issues.
- Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and leadership to align PeopleSoft functionality with business objectives.
- Provide functional and technical leadership across key PeopleSoft FSCM modules, including General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management.
- Support PeopleSoft's integration with Oracle EPM, Coupa, and ADFS (single sign-on functionality).
- Lead initiatives related to physical inventory tracking and other asset-related processes.
- Oversee testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience managing PeopleSoft projects, including upgrades and implementations.
- Experience working with the federal government.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2, Image 30 or higher.
- Proven track record of successfully upgrading PeopleSoft Financials within version 9.2.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Asset Management, Commitment Control, and Purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, manage scope, and drive project success.
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.61 and integrating PeopleSoft with Oracle EPM, Coupa, and ADFS for single sign-on.
- Familiarity with content management solutions and e-voucher scanning solutions is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
- Familiarity with business process reengineering and workflow automation within PeopleSoft.
- Experience in data conversion, interface development, and data security best practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies for ERP systems.
