Annual Compensation: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00

The Informatics System Administrator supports GMR's mission by developing and maintaining clinical information solutions through all system development phases: analysis, design, development, testing, training/support, go-live, and maintenance.

The Informatics System Administrator supports GMR's mission by developing and maintaining clinical information solutions through all system development phases: analysis, design, development, testing, training/support, go-live, and maintenance.

The Informatics System Administrator will engage with multiple disciplines on a national platform. They will work with internal business partners, clinicians, vendors, and IT leaders to develop technology-based solutions according to best practices.

Summary / Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain clinical information solutions to ensure effective and uninterrupted operations for healthcare providers.
    • Identify and address technical problems associated with clinical information systems.
    • Regularly monitor system performance and conduct audits to identify areas for improvement.
    • Skilled at gathering business requirements and converting them into comprehensive system specifications.
    • Problem Solving: Recognizing and analyzing complex problems, evaluating relevant information to develop and assess potential solutions, and applying effective resolutions.
    • Proven knowledge of customer service principles and practices, such as conducting needs assessments, upholding quality standards, and assessing customer satisfaction.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments for timely completion. Skilled in time management, working independently with self-motivation, and creative design.
    • Exhibited strong critical thinking abilities by employing logic and reasoning to assess the strengths and weaknesses of various solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
    • Ensure patient data security and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
    • This position is remote with some travel that may be required (up to 5%).

Qualifications:
Education & Industry Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in software or system testing across multiple IT environments.
  • Minimum one (1) year software or application development experience.
  • Minimum two (2) year experience with Clinical Documentation software admin responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between people, process, and technology especially as it relates to service delivery and process improvement
  • Knowledge of ambulance company operations, communications and dispatch, CAD and other communications systems and ambulance field operations is preferred, including general knowledge in the following areas:
  • Medical care/medical transportation (patient care issues, how patients are transported by ambulance, required documentation, common issues which arise during transport and/or billing)
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have a proven ability to create presentation quality documents with each of these tools
  • Understanding of Outlook and MS Teams
