JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: JOB DESCRIPTION: The Department of Finance of The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) seeks to fill one non-tenure-line faculty position (open rank) beginning in Fall 2025. Candidates must contribute to the mission of the Smeal College of Business and the Department of Finance in the areas of teaching and service. In particular, the candidate must effectively teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; engage in service activities commensurate with their rank; and contribute to the collegial and intellectual atmosphere of the department. Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field; ABD candidates should expect to complete their degree requirements by the time of the appointment. Experienced applicants should have an established record of effective teaching.
