The Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in our Plants, ensuring accurate execution of transactions within our SAP System and supporting critical Operations Management activities daily. Our Operations Coordinators works closely with our Operations Managers and Supervisors to drive activities through the plant, including tracking of inbound and outbound shipments, management of inventories, document retention and other various work to keep our locations efficient, safe and in compliance with internal and external requirements. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator plays a key role for internal partners, acting as a liaison for Operations, and sharing information relating to Customer Order fulfillment and shipment status, coordinating shipments with Common Carriers, and handling the many vendor partners that Univar Solutions works with locally every day. This role requires individuals to have a strong foundation of understanding of how Warehouse Operations function, with the technical savvy to drive processes through our various business systems.
