Lead Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Leader with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React JS TypeScript and Contentful along with a strong background in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient software solutions using React JS and TypeScript.

* Oversee the integration of Contentful CMS to ensure seamless content management and delivery.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure best practices and high-quality code.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural decisions and technical specifications.

* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

* Ensure the security and compliance of software solutions particularly in the context of Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains.

* Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user loads and data volumes.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture and development processes.

* Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning retrospectives and daily stand-ups.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Qualifications:

* Between 12 to 15 years of experience

* Must have extensive experience with React JS and TypeScript.

* Must have hands-on experience with Contentful CMS.

* Must have domain expertise in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer.

* Have extensive experience in Python (experience with serverless and Flask frameworks a plus)

* Experience with AWS serverless architecture

* Nice to have experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries.

* Nice to have experience with cloud platforms and services.

* Nice to have experience with agile methodologies and practices.

* Nice to have experience with performance optimization techniques.

* Nice to have experience with security best practices in software development.

* Nice to have experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

* Nice to have experience with user experience (UX) design principles.

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 3/24//2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
