Job Summary

Seeking for Business system Analyst with requirements documentation and strong SQL knowledge. Experience in P&C Insurance and Policy Center is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Provide technical expertise in PL/SQL and SQL to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data solutions.
  • Develop and enforce data architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Conduct regular reviews of data models and database designs to identify and address potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to data management and security.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and ETL to drive innovation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture ETL processes and database designs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in PL/SQL and SQL to design and optimize complex queries and database structures.
  • Have extensive experience in data warehousing concepts and ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration.
  • Demonstrate domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and address industry-specific data needs.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • Show proficiency in data modeling and database design to create scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • Have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Certifications Required

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 03/24/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $99000 - $116000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
