Are you a compassionate and creative Family Therapist looking to make a real impact in the lives of families? What You'll Be Doing:

  • Family Connector Extraordinaire: Be the go-to person for families on your caseload! You'll proactively communicate, support, and guide them through their therapeutic journey, ensuring they feel heard and valued.

  • Therapy Wizard: Lead engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions using our innovative clinical model and the magic of Attachment-Based Family Therapy. Your creativity will shine as you help families navigate their challenges together!

  • Orientation Guru: Facilitate fun and informative Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups. You'll help families understand the process while creating a warm and welcoming environment.

  • Documentation Dynamo: Keep everything organized and on track! Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and more with flair and timeliness. Your attention to detail will help us maintain our high standards.

  • Tech-Savvy Superstar: Use your tech skills to enter and save data accurately in Word, Outlook, EMR, and online learning platforms. You'll be the go-to person for making sure our records are up to date!

  • Team Player: Join our weekly treatment team meetings, staff gatherings, and clinical supervision sessions. Collaborate with fellow superheroes in the field to share ideas and strategies!

  • Professional Ambassador: Represent Newport Healthcare at meetings, trainings, and conferences with enthusiasm and professionalism. Show the world what we're all about!

  • Schedule Maestro: Manage your own schedule like a pro! You'll juggle tasks and goals with ease, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or ACSW, APCC, AMFT).
  • Experience in family therapy, especially with Attachment-Based Family Therapy techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships.
  • A collaborative spirit and a love for teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Education:

    • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or enrollment in a Doctorate program from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.
  • Licensure:

    • Must be board registered (e.g., APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or a Psychological Associate in the state where services are provided.
  • Experience:

    • Required: Experience with individual, group, or family therapy specifically with adolescents and young adults.
    • Preferred: Experience in mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment.
  • Training:

    • Willingness to be trained in family therapy within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
Salary Range:
  • Compensation: $32.31 - $44.42 per hour, based on education and experience.
