RESEARCH ASSOCIATE I

The Cardiology Clinical Trials Research Associate I under direct supervision supports the research team in the overall conduct of clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practices. Mentored by a Research Associate III, Manager, Senior Study Supervisor or the investigator, the Research Associate I ensures the effective execution and management of clinical trials at Montefiore. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate research records, ensuring data integrity and timely data submission, and maintaining source documentation as necessary. The Research Associate will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams at Montefiore Medical Center and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of clinical trial workflows. Additionally, the associate will also contribute to the understanding of clinical trial protocols, research design, and procedures including clinic workflows. The Associate will also assist in conducting innovative research projects in collaboration with senior researchers, and present research findings at national and international conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree required
• GCP training required
• A record of clinical research
• Publication from prior research work
• MS Office proficient.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks & priorities
• Demonstrated leadership potential
• Knowledge of variety of concepts, practices and procedures in directly related field
