About This Role

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care in the Radiology Section. Duties may include preparation and restraint of patients for imaging procedures, transporting patients, and assisting with administrative needs of the section. Working hours for this position will include Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Worksite Option

This position is required to be performed on-site. Work is performed on employer premises or designated assignment location.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma
  • One year of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to handle, restrain, and perform radiology procedures on domestic animals.
  • Ability to perform technical tasks associated with emergency medical care and to instruct students to perform technical procedures with limited direct supervision.
  • Be willing to master new techniques.


Other Requirements:



  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
