Job Title: SEM Coordinator

Location: Culver City, Los Angeles

We are seeking an experienced SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Coordinator to join our dynamic digital marketing team. In this role, you will support a team of 2-4 SEM Specialists in the planning, execution, and management of PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Kenshoo. You will be responsible for campaign setup, performance optimization, and ongoing analysis to improve efficiency and drive results.

As an SEM Coordinator, your tasks will include pulling SEM data from platforms, performing Search Query Report (SQR) analysis, managing bid optimization, and monitoring pacing to ensure campaigns stay within budget. You will collaborate closely with our digital marketing strategy, ad ops, analytics, and measurement teams to ensure the successful execution and performance of Paid Search campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist SEM Specialists with the day-to-day management of PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Kenshoo, and other self-service SEM platforms.
  • Analyze SEM performance data and identify optimization opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.
  • Perform tasks such as SQR analysis, bid optimizations, negative keyword management, and budget pacing.
  • Generate and interpret reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute and manage digital marketing strategies.


Key Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in a paid search marketing role (agency-side experience preferred).
  • Strong familiarity with self-service paid search platforms (Google Ads, SA360, Marin, Microsoft Ad Center).
  • In-depth understanding of PPC principles, including budget pacing, reporting, SQR analysis, bid optimizations, and negative keyword implementation.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation, with the ability to visualize and communicate insights effectively.
  • A passion for digital media and a strong desire to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Google Ads Certification is a plus.


Education & Experience:



  • A BS/BA degree is required.
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in paid search campaign management.
