Job Summary
B&A is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking someone to design, implement, and maintain an effective knowledge management (KM) strategy using Microsoft technologies. This role focuses on optimizing the organization's knowledge-sharing processes, leveraging tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Viva Topics, Teams, and Power Platform to ensure seamless collaboration and information accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage knowledge management frameworks using Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Viva Topics.
- Organize, structure, and maintain knowledge repositories to ensure information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Work with IT and business teams to implement knowledge-sharing best practices and ensure effective use of Microsoft KM tools.
- Develop automation workflows using Power Automate to streamline knowledge capture and distribution.
- Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for employees to maximize knowledge management system adoption.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate teams on knowledge management tools and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze knowledge usage metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure knowledge governance, security, and compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
- Support content migration, taxonomy development, and metadata management within Microsoft 365 environments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information management, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills
- 10 years of experience using Microsoft 365 suite, including knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerShell scripting.
- 10 years of experience configuring and administering SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, and permissions.
- 10 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues, diagnosing root causes, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- 5 years of experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Graph API, and other development tools for extending SharePoint functionality and integrating with external systems.
- 5 years of experience of data management concepts, including content categorization, tagging, search optimization, and data governance within SharePoint Online.
- 5 years of experience querying SharePoint Online analytics to consolidate and create reports and presentations demonstrating value of published content.
Desired Skills
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, or Knowledge Management-related certifications).
- Experience implementing AI-driven knowledge management tools.
- Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and knowledge-centered service (KCS) methodologies.

- Eligible to obtain a security clearance.
