Job Description: Summary: Working from our Westerville Office, you will be utilizing CAD architectural/engineering drafting methods and procedures to prepare complete and accurate drawings. Initial work scope will be focused to our lock project being built in Sault Saint Marie, MI with future scope expanding to other Kokosing Industrial projects. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Prepare electronic layouts, charts, detailed scale drawings, and material and equipment bill-of-materials from sketches, specifications, and standard layouts provided by customers, consultants, and/or departmental contacts Review and manipulate electronic files received from consultants and departmental contacts Revise CAD drawings and plans to represent "as-built" conditions Interface with team members that our project based to obtain details for project requirements Coordinate closely with Project Teams (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) to integrate project features into BIM models. Education and Experience: Autodesk Revit 3D modeling and/or construction detailing experience Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Self-motivated Proficiency in the use of 3D modeling and drafting software Ability to read and interpret construction documents Math, time management, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals Strong communication skills both oral and written Kokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
