Job Overview
As an Account Executive, K-12 Education, you will be a true sales hunter, focusing on the entire customer lifecycle to support the growth of accounts. Leveraging your prior experience in the education industry, you will drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue while ensuring customer retention. Your role will involve generating sales opportunities by calling leads, establishing and cultivating customer relationships, and resolving customer issues. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to meet sales expectations and maintain a high level of job performance through various metrics aimed at building the business. You will consistently complete your work in accordance with T-Mobile's core values, ensuring quality and perfection in every task.
Job Responsibilities:
- New Sales: Apply contact lists to call leads and generate sales opportunities. Exceed monthly sales goals. Welcome customers, review service agreements, answer questions, and probe for additional business. Maintain monthly call goals. 30%
- Account Management: Establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase the customer base. Complete account maintenance, resolve customer issues, and track individual account activity and results.
- Data Entry: Perform extensive data entry, system navigation, and utilization, including independent analysis and decision-making. Ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Training: Participate in continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches. Use automated knowledge systems and training tools to deliver outstanding service.
- Productivity: Attain productivity and sales goals based on targeted metrics. Meet/exceed departmental goals and business objectives. Present to executive leaders or in large-scale presentations.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate positive and coordinated behavior with customers and coworkers. Maintain high standards for ethical and professional conduct.
- Disburses adjustments and credits as appropriate within established limits and criteria.
- Team Support: Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 2-4 years Experience selling within an education vertical (Preferred)
- 2-4 years Experience in the Education industry (Preferred)
- 2-4 years Proven track record of sales success in business sales (B2B) (Preferred)
- 2-4 years Experience in Wireless Industry/Telesales/Technical Sales (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- CRM and Microsoft Office: Proficiency in using CRM systems such as Salesforce to lead customer interactions and sales activities, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. (Required)
- Customer Acquisition: Ability to identify, attract, and secure new customers to drive sales growth. (Required)
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks to ensure high-quality outcomes. (Required)
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for customer interactions, communicating solutions, and team collaboration. Clear and persuasive communication builds customer relationships and closes sales. (Required)
- Presentations: Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to potential and existing customers. This involves using visual aids and clear messaging to effectively convey the value of products and services. (Required)
- Problem Solving: Ability to creatively resolve sophisticated problems with general guidance, ensuring effective solutions. (Required)
- Sales Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. (Required)
- Cross-Functional Team Building: Experience in partnering with team members and building cross-functional professional relationships to achieve common goals. (Required)
- Academic Vernacular: Familiarity with funding, curriculum, and organizational charts/hierarchy within the education sector. (Required)
