NVH Test Engineer

As a NVH Test Engineer the responsibilities include:

• Conduct and complete NVH testing on vehicles, sub-systems and components as assigned
• Interpret and refine test requests
• Review, understand, promote and execute NVH test standards
• Operate vehicle during data acquisition
• Identify and resolve operational issues
• Provide subjective evaluations
• Ensure accurate data through routine quality checks
• Perform standard and advanced NVH data post-processing
• Generate detailed test reports and drive issue resolution

• Direct and work alongside union Mechanics & Technicians in the execution of testing work orders

• Recommend and support process improvement actions for the betterment of department operational and economic efficiencies

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree field
• 2 or more years of related testing experience
• Demonstrated ability in effectively using NVH data acquisition and processing tools (i.e. LMS Testlab, Head Acoustics Artemis, Matlab)
• Fundamental understanding of overall vehicle functionality
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science Degree
• 4 or more years of NVH testing experience
• Prior experience in product management, homologation, regulations and/or NVH in an automotive company
• Proven record of demonstrated ability to solve technical problems
