Your Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of an HR talent management project during the term.
  • Analyze, create business cases, and recommend next steps for talent management related initiatives including performance management and succession planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes and procedures based on customer feedback and experience.
  • Present findings to groups of key stakeholders leveraging strong influencing skills and being open to receive feedback.
  • Provide high quality HR support to internal customers (the HR community, business unit leaders and employees) with accurate and timely processing of information.
  • Coordinate various HR programs and perform administrative tasks related to various departments.
  • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background:

  • Student in Human Resources (3rd year).
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and diverse employee groups.
  • Collaborate with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Strong communication skills in English. French written and verbal skills will be considered an asset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of HR talent management methodologies and practices.

Le mandat des Ressources Humaines (RH) est d'aider Hitachi Energy a se distinguer en ce qui concerne les employes - de la gestion des talents et des performances aux opportunites de carriere enrichissantes. Dans tout ce que nous faisons, nous cherchons a creer un avantage concurrentiel en consacrant des ressources pour attirer, developper et retenir des personnes talentueuses qui sont axees sur le client, collaboratives, innovantes et motivees.

Taches

* Prendre en charge un projet de gestion des talents en RH pendant le mandat.

* Analyser, creer des analyses de rentabilite et recommander les prochaines etapes pour les initiatives liees a la gestion des talents, notamment la gestion du rendement et la planification de la releve.

* Identifier les possibilites d'ameliorer et de rationaliser les processus et procedures existants en fonction des commentaires et de l'experience des clients.

* Presenter les resultats a des groupes de parties prenantes cles en faisant appel a de solides competences en matiere d'influence et en etant ouvert aux commentaires.

* Fournir un soutien RH de haute qualite aux clients internes (la communaute RH, les dirigeants des unites commerciales et les employes) en traitant l'information de maniere precise et opportune.

* Coordonner divers programmes RH et effectuer des taches administratives liees a divers departements.

Exigences

* Etudiant(e) en ressources humaines (3e annee).

* Tres bonne connaissance de l'environnement Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint).

* Capacite a travailler avec des equipes interfonctionnelles et des groupes d'employes divers.

* Collaborer avec une attitude orientee vers la recherche de solutions.

* Solides competences en communication en anglais. Des competences ecrites et verbales en francais seront considerees comme un atout.

* Hautement organise et capable de coordonner plusieurs projets dans des delais serres.

Competences souhaitables

* Connaissance des methodologies et pratiques de gestion des talents en RH.
