Summary:

In this role, you will champion, lead, and coordinate all non-acute spend management activity through the spend management delivery team's account planning process. You will work with client leadership, across all Spend Management categories, to understand priorities and build a workplan that aligns Vizient solutions to help solve problems,drive value and grow the Provider relationship through maximization of revenue growth. Individual should currently reside in OR, WA, ND, MO, or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strategic alignment with distributors and key suppliers on major initiatives and goals.

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and supply chain leaders responsible for non-acute spend across all spend management categories.

  • Utilize internal business insights and intelligence to propose ideas that highlight Vizient's value, mitigate risk, and influence clients to leverage Vizient in addressing their spend management challenges.

  • Act as a key participant in the development and execution of account plans, project plans, and work plans by facilitating a collaborative process between provider stakeholders and Vizient resources.

  • Identify, present, and implement opportunities to transition spend from off-contract to on-contract.

  • Recognize opportunities and facilitate discussions with clients and Vizient's internal resources to improve data capture and data integrity.

  • Engage biweekly and monthly with clients' non-acute strategic stakeholders across spend management categories to understand the challenges they are addressing, as well as their strategic financial and operational objectives.

  • Manage and maintain a diverse pipeline of growth opportunities to maximize revenue potential and provider value.

  • Document account information in Salesforce, maintain the integrity of membership records, and manage member account plans and pipelines.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of clients' organizations, key monthly priorities, business goals, and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of experience in sales and/or account management role required.

  • Knowledge of GPO/supply chain, and non-acute pharmacy market.

  • Must have strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills and work effectively with C-suites.

  • Experience with sales pipeline development and management.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
