We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Asphalt Laborer. The Asphalt Paving Laborer is a fast-paced position that is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and maintenance of asphalt pavements. This position requires physical labor, working in outdoor conditions, and operating hand and power tools.

Collaborate with crew members to ensure efficient workflow and quality outcomes.
• Inspect paving surfaces for smoothness and quality control.
• Must be a reliable team player that shows up on time and has a strong work ethic.
• Have attention to detail, ability to follow instructions from leadership, and have great communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Availability to work 8-12+ hours a day and travel Monday through Friday all over Kansas and surrounding states.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor.
• Assist in the placement, spreading, and leveling of asphalt material.
• Rake, shovel, and smooth asphalt to achieve the desired grade and finish.
• Operate hand tools such as rakes, lutes, and tampers.
• Assist in setting up and taking down traffic control measures.
• Work alongside equipment operators and truck drivers to ensure proper material flow.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload tools and equipment from trucks as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Assist in other general labor duties as assigned.
