Job Description
Location: New York, NYThe Audio Producer works on a suite of New Yorker podcasts and performs other audio needs for the magazine. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated interest in the range of subjects covered by The New Yorker's podcasts, which include politics, culture, fiction, and poetry, as well as ability to develop compelling show ideas and series and produce episodes commensurate with The New Yorker's voice and editorial standards. The ideal candidate is a generalist who combines serious literary knowledge and experience with political awareness. The candidate will also have a creative eye for opportunities to integrate audio into New Yorker pieces online, and into video and other media. This is a guild position. Responsibilities:

The expected base salary range for this position is from $74,350 - $80,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
