Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite
Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to drive strategic vendor management and ensure the alignment of vendor solutions with business needs. This role is perfect for someone who excels in conducting thorough vendor evaluations, staying ahead of industry trends, and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships. You will play a key role in shaping procurement strategies, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions to support our business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead vendor needs analysis and explore optimal tools and solutions
- Oversee the Vendor Review Manager and facilitate detailed vendor evaluations
- Stay informed on industry trends and new products
- Identify and address gaps in the vendor map
- Score vendors and shape the future vision for vendor use
- Maintain documentation standards for analysis
- Collaborate with legal, tech, finance, compliance, and privacy
- Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships
Experience you'll bring:
- 5 years of professional work experience in procurement
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with strong self-management skills
- Ability to work both individually and within a team
- Excellent communication skills
Bonus Points:
- 1-3 years of experience in financial services
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Certifications relate to Lean and/or Six Sigma
