Summary of Position

The (Contractor) Senior Financial Systems and Process Lead will collaborate with the finance and IT teams to track, document and ensure completion of key processes. The role will also be responsible for documenting and creating SOPs for all procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm (Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 remote)

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with the IT team daily to ensure processes are working within the XA system and work with them to fix the issues, while ensuring proper finance procedures are being followed.
  • Create detailed process flows for all finance related activities.
  • Ensure and document proper separation of duties within the financial system.
  • Create SOPs for all financial roles that tie into the process flows and key SODs.
  • Prepare weekly and bi-weekly updates for upper management.
  • Actively look for process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting processes, implement best practices, and identify efficiencies.
  • Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA a plus
  • Understanding of GAAP with IFRS knowledge a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years in financial role, business development, or accounting role.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multi-cultural and cross-functional team.
  • Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to keep everyone on track.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Independent, inquisitive and a self-starter.
  • Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Understanding of business intelligence tool.



Working Conditions:



  • Normal office environment.
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
  • Close attention to detail required.
  • Willingness to work in a team-based environment.
  • In office 4 days per week, 1 optional day hybrid, pending on month end close cycle.
