Job Highlights
  • Manages the scheduling and shipment of products to ensure the business meets agreed customer service targets.
  • Preparing the shipping schedule and necessary documentation for bulk material loads (rail and road), product shuttles, and customer direct shipments.
  • Coordination of the shipping schedule with the shipping department, transport companies, and corporate supply chain/logistics.
  • Creating Purchase orders, deliveries, and Freight orders in SAP.
  • Maintain MARSEC and DOT Hazardous training.
  • Provide backup coverage for the front gate and Production scheduling.
  • Perform special projects to support inventory management.
  • Manage the Shipping schedule in Excel
  • Monitor the Shipping schedule and SAP to facilitate finished product loading and raw material offloads
  • Schedule/communicate the finished goods transportation to meet the production schedule and customer orders.
Requirements
  • High School / Associates Degree: Experience to deal with majority of situations and to advise others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel. Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
