Position Title: Material Cleaner Wage: $18/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:30pm-2am QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Cleaner for a company in Springfield, MO. This is a contract to hire role. Material Cleaner Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Participate in the washing and handling of materials through the contract cleaning operation - Feed dirty materials through a washer and then restack the cleaned product and prepare it for shipment - Keep work area clean and neat; complete daily cleaning schedule Material Cleaner Requirements: - High school diploma or GED desired - Basic computer skills - Regularly stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and communicate - Frequently reach with hands and arms - Frequently kneel, crouch, walk and stand for long periods of time - Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds - Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus - Work with tight tolerances - Ability to become forklift certified - Work in a wet environment - Must be able to work overtime as needed; on-time and dependable - Must be able to work under direct supervision and independently QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
