Summary: The Manager, Speaker Bureau, will lead the strategy and execution of Commercial Speaker Bureau and Peer-to-Peer programs, ensuring seamless alignment with EXPAREL, iovera, and ZILRETTA brand objectives. This role requires close collaboration with brand leads and external vendors to execute high-quality speaker programs while maintaining strict adherence to operational and compliance standards
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned. * Lead the strategy and execution of the Commercial Speaker Bureau and Peer-to-Peer programs. * Ensure that all program strategies and execution align with EXPAREL, iovera, and ZILRETTA brand goals. * Be a self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to function autonomously. * Partner with speakers and brand leads to develop presentation materials and strategy tailored to each vertical. * Develop KPIs for engagement programs and vertical-specific initiatives based on annual business goals. * Oversee the creation of HCP training materials and virtual training programs while ensuring compliance with established guidelines. * Ensure consistency and compliance with operational requirements for all Speaker Bureau nominations and HCP engagements, including contracting, documentation, and records retention. * Act as a liaison with contracted Pacira speakers to align content and program objectives. * Gather and communicate field feedback to brand teams regarding promotional programming. * Partner with the Sales team to monitor and secure speaker programs. * Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships. * Collaborate with other Field teams to support local and account-level engagement with Commercial Speakers. * Contribute to the annual brand planning and budgeting process. * Manage agencies to ensure adherence to SLAs and successful program execution. * Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams as needed to maintain regulatory adherence. Interaction: Will collaborate closely with employees in all other functional areas and directly with the commercial team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or project coordination, preferably within business development or the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, OR 2-3 years of experience in HCP meeting planning or Speaker Bureau management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Experience managing speaker bureau or peer to peer programs. * Demonstrated success in the development and execution of strategies to respond to unique or challenging market dynamics * Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize projects effectively * Strong written and oral English communications skills, strong presentation skills; proven ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organization as well as vendors and outside constituents * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of reference and bibliographic software and creation of reference databases are essential * Ability to successfully work cross-functionally * Knowledge of PhRMA guidelines Travel Requirements * Ability to travel up to 30% Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
