About the Team The Pottery Barn Kids & Teen Studio Team consists of highly passionate, collaborative and process-driven thinkers. As part of the team, you'll bring your ideas to the discussion. We creatively market products by providing cohesive visual direction and producing photography and video across all brand channels. We work closely with Creative and eCom teams to bring products and stories to life. About the Role The Photo Manager will oversee studio production and teams to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output for all studio shoots. Responsibilities
- Oversee the studio and teams to support photo shoots in composing product and model photography and ensuring the digital assets meet brand style guides
- Work within Miro and AirTable to manage and maintain our photo schedules, deadlines and milestones
- Coordinate between multiple teams from creative, production, merchandising to ensure photo shoots run on-time and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Support the Creative Directors to maintain photo style guides and big-brand initiatives
- Collaborate with other Studio Managers to maintain, create and evolve processes to streamline workflow between studios and teams
- Work closely with the Color manager to align on workflow to ensure product and color accuracy
- Create contact sheets of photos assets and maintain analytics for shot counts by category
- Manage the studio budget to support monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
- Continually maintain, drive and evolve team processes to support creative efficiencies and standards
- Performance manage, guide and develop design team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and growth
- Maintain creative process, workflow and relationships between creative, merchandising and marketing teams
Criteria
- You have a bachelor's degree
- You have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- You have outstanding communication skills
- You have meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines
- You have 4+ years in related studio work experience
- You have previous photo studio management experience
- You have have experience working with cross-functional partners
- Proficiency in Excel
- Clear knowledge of content management systems
- Basic understanding of Miro and AirTable
- Ability to work onsite in our Richmond, CA photo studio Monday-Friday
