Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a high performing Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Team located in Radnor, PA. This position will report to the Corporate Returns & Allowances Manager and will perform a wide variety of accounting duties that cover multiple areas with a focus on aspects of revenue returns and allowances. Responsibilities also include process improvements, process documentation, and ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:



  • Prepare support for, and record required journal entries related to areas as assigned
  • Participate, as a major contributor, in the completion of month-end and year end closing and financial reporting processes in a timely fashion to meet assigned deadlines
  • Ensure that all assigned general ledger balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and advise the accounting leadership of any potential exposures in a timely manner
  • Analysis of general ledger account balances, including making adjustments
  • Work cross functionally with the company's financial planning & analysis team, sales team and plant controllers.
  • Assist in the development of documented process narratives and/or training material while identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements to create efficiencies and reduce time frames for deliverables in the financial close and reporting processes
  • Assist on various requests related to audit, compliance, ad-hoc reporting, special project analyses and administrative needs
  • Participate in periodic audits by external organizations

Qualifications:



  • B.S. in accounting, finance or associated discipline
  • CPA or CPA track preferred
  • 4+ years of financial business experience, in either public accounting or private industry
  • Demonstrated to be a critical thinker with strong data analysis and documentation skills
  • Capable of issue resolution and root cause analysis
