The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Pay Range: $88,300.00 - $132,400.00Job Description WGU Advancement establishes philanthropic partnerships with others who share our vision for a future in which opportunity and access to education are more readily available to all and innovations in education make that possible. The Business Systems Analyst for Advancement will be responsible for developing the backbone of technology tools that make this work possible. We seek an experienced Salesforce administrator and developer, ideally with experience in higher education philanthropy, grants administration systems, and CRMs (e.g. Ascend) who can translate business needs into system enhancements, implementing and recommending solutions that will make WGU a model for dynamic, innovative higher education fundraising. The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for extrapolating and analyzing data and trends, managing, and maintaining systems and software for WGU Advancement (fundraising). This role serves as a liaison between Advancement and WGU's technical teams, developing, leading, and managing assigned projects. The Senior Business System Analyst will also take the lead in complex coding tasks, API integrations, advanced system architecture design, and ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities for system and process improvements, resolving complex system errors, conducting quality control audits, and providing solutions to enhance system navigation for student and employee programs and process. The Senior Business Systems Analyst takes a lead role in maximizing the use of large databases and system interface integrations for departmental systems and processes. This position will identify and implement solutions for systems errors, inconsistent data and processes that do not provide the most favorable experience for students and employees at the university.
