QuickBase Developer

Location: Remote US

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy QuickBase applications based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Customize and optimize existing QuickBase applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with QuickBase applications.
  • Train end-users and citizen developers on how to use and maintain QuickBase applications.
  • Stay up to date on the latest QuickBase features and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Keep current with QuickBase features and recommend solutions for data management and security.
  • Enhance application performance and usability by conducting thorough testing to ensure readiness for deployment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Develop organizational insight to better understand business processes.
  • Create detailed documentation for applications, including user guides and technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement automated workflows using QuickBase Pipelines and integrations with external systems.
  • Design relational databases, define table relationships, and ensure data integrity across applications.
  • Create dynamic reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Integrate QuickBase with other enterprise tools and systems via APIs, native connectors, or third-party platforms like Zapier.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, system engineering, information technology, business administration, education, or related fields and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of actual application development experience on the QuickBase platform with expertise in QuickBase formulas, relationships, and pipelines.
  • Proven experience in developing QuickBase applications.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBase platform and its capabilities.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated to complete tasks and comfortable with autonomy.
  • Ability to handle and meet multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools like QuickBase Pipelines or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with integrating QuickBase via APIs and connectors.
  • Proficiency in creating custom reports, dashboards, and filters for data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
  • Certification in QuickBase or other no-code/low-code platforms is a plus.
