Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed Surgical Team. This role provides critical support to General, Vascular, Colorectal, and Endorine Surgeons, focusing on the triage, pre-operative, and post-operative care. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes. This position will be based at the: Johns Hopkins Surgery - Howard County 11085 Little Patuxent Pkwy Medical Arts Bldg, Ste 103 Columbia, MD 21044 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Key responsibilities are, but not limited to: Conduct triage assessments, ensuring timely and effective patient care. Manager pre-operative preparations, including patient education and procedural coordination. Provide post-operative monitoring, wound care, and follow-up instructions. Assist surgeons and clinical teams with patient assessments, care planning, and coordination. Educate patients and families on post-operative care, recovery, expectations, and symptom management. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
