JOB TITLE - DOT Compliance Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
Support the Department of Transportation (FMCSA) driver
compliance process by ensuring all driver qualification files, logs, training
documents, and misc transportation forms are accurate and current. Position will utilize existing 3rd party
computer programs to manage all files. Position will also act as a liaison to Logistic and Fleet Service
operations.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
Participate in The Company's safety programs to help drive the safety culture across all locations.
Review Driver compliance reports daily to ensure files exist and are current.
Validate Driver logs and/or 100-mile radius timesheets to confirm accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate training on all FCMSA required forms and training documents with field operations.
Assist with the Driver pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug testing process.
Act as the subject matter expert as it pertains to DOT driver compliance.
Act as a liaison to transportation operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
A college degree is preferred, but not required.
Work Experience Details
Prior Transportation
or Logistics experience in a related field is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
CFR 49 Regulations- DOT Hours of Service, Driver Qualification Files, and Hazardous Materials Regulations
General knowledge of Distribution principles and delivery equipment.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook Personal
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
An ability to manage / prioritize multiple ongoing activities and use action plans to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
Takes initiative to work with local, regional, and corporate teams to achieve local and company wide goals.
